Walking
From the center of Joshua Tree, head east on Highway 62 (Twentynine Palms Highway) for about 12 miles. As you approach Palm Springs, you will see signs for downtown Palm Springs. Once in downtown, turn right onto Palm Canyon Drive. Continue on Palm Canyon Drive until you reach E Palm Canyon Drive, then turn left. After a few blocks, turn right onto Tamarisk Road. Ruth Hardy Park will be on your left at 700 Tamarisk Rd. The park is open from 6 AM to 10 PM.

Public Transportation
Take the SunLine Bus Route 14 from the Joshua Tree Transit Center. The bus operates several times a day and will take you directly to the Palm Springs area. Get off at the stop closest to the downtown area. Once you arrive, walk east on Ramon Road, then turn left onto Palm Canyon Drive. Continue walking until you reach E Palm Canyon Drive and turn left. Finally, turn right onto Tamarisk Road, and Ruth Hardy Park will be on your left at 700 Tamarisk Rd.
