Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Joshua Tree. From the Visitor Center, head north on Park Blvd. Continue straight as Park Blvd turns into Pioneertown Rd. Follow this road for about 5.5 miles until you reach Pioneertown. Be cautious of traffic, as some sections have no bike lane.

For the adventurous, walking to Pioneertown is possible but it is quite a long trek. Start at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center and head north on Park Blvd. Continue onto Pioneertown Rd. This will take you approximately 2 hours one way, so be prepared with water and snacks. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
