Walking
From the center of Joshua Tree, head east on Highway 62 (Twentynine Palms Highway). After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Park Boulevard. Continue on Park Boulevard for approximately 2 miles until you reach the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs towards the Desert View Conservation Area, which is located in the eastern section of the park. The area is about 10 miles from the entrance of the park. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the Desert View Conservation Area.

Biking
If you are biking from Joshua Tree, start at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center. Head east on Highway 62 for about 0.5 miles. Then, turn left onto Park Boulevard. This road will take you into Joshua Tree National Park. Once you enter the park, follow the road towards the Desert View Conservation Area, which is approximately 10 miles away. The ride is scenic, offering beautiful views along the way.

Public Transport (Bus)
Take the Morongo Basin Transit Authority's Route 15 bus from the Joshua Tree area. The bus will take you towards the Twentynine Palms area. Make sure to get off at the stop closest to the Joshua Tree National Park entrance. Once you arrive, you will need to walk or bike the remaining distance, which is about 10 miles into the park towards the Desert View Conservation Area.
