    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of La Jolla, head to the nearest bus stop, either on Girard Avenue or Prospect Street. Board the Number 30 bus headed towards the San Diego City Center. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the 'Balboa Park' stop. Walk towards the park entrance, and once inside, follow the signs towards the California Tower, which is located at 1350 El Prado. It should be a short 10-minute walk through the park.

    Public Transport

    Start at the La Jolla Cove and walk to the nearest bus stop on Coast Blvd. Catch the Number 30 bus towards Downtown San Diego. Once you reach the 'Balboa Park' stop, disembark and walk straight into Balboa Park. Follow the pathways until you reach the California Tower, which is situated at 1350 El Prado. This entire journey should take about 45 minutes, including the bus ride and walking.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a nearby rental shop in La Jolla. Head south on Prospect Street towards La Jolla Shores Drive, then take the bike path that leads to Mission Boulevard. Continue south until you reach the bike path that connects to the San Diego River Bike Path. Follow the path until you reach Balboa Park. Once inside the park, bike towards the California Tower, located at 1350 El Prado. The biking route may take approximately 35-40 minutes.
