Getting There

Bus
From La Jolla, walk to the nearest bus stop on La Jolla Boulevard and take the MTS Bus Route 30 towards Downtown San Diego. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the 'Broadway & 1st' stop. From there, transfer to the MTS Bus Route 901 towards Coronado. Ride for about 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Coronado Ferry Landing' stop. The Coronado Ferry Center will be just a short walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you're up for a bike ride, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in La Jolla. Start by heading south on La Jolla Boulevard towards Pacific Beach. Continue along the coastline, following the Pacific Beach Bike Path. After about 4 miles, you will reach the Mission Bay area. From there, follow the bike lanes towards the San Diego Bay until you get to the Coronado Ferry Landing. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

For the adventurous, you can walk to the Coronado Ferry Center. Start at the La Jolla Cove and head south along the coastline, taking the scenic route through La Jolla Shores and along the beautiful beaches. After about 4 miles, you'll reach the San Diego Bay. Once you reach the bay, head towards the Coronado Bridge pathway. Walk across the bridge (note that it is approximately 2.1 miles long) to reach Coronado. Once you arrive in Coronado, follow the signs to the Coronado Ferry Center; it will be a short walk from the bridge.
