From La Jolla Village Square, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Villa La Jolla Drive and La Jolla Village Drive. Take the 101 bus heading north. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at Encinitas Blvd and Pacific Coast Hwy. From there, walk west on Encinitas Blvd for about 5 minutes until you see Moonlight State Beach on your right.

Continue along the coast until you reach the intersection with Encinitas Blvd. Turn left onto Encinitas Blvd and ride for about 1 mile until you see Moonlight State Beach on your left.
