Getting There

  • Public Bus

    Start at the La Jolla Village Square. Head to the bus stop located at 8650 Villa La Jolla Dr. Take the MTS Bus Route 30 towards Downtown. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'La Jolla Shores & Avenida De La Playa'. From there, transfer to Bus Route 2, heading towards 'Mission Blvd & Pacific Beach'. Get off at the stop 'Mission Blvd & La Jolla Blvd'. Walk down La Jolla Blvd towards the south for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Torrey Pines Road. Cross Torrey Pines Road and continue straight onto Soledad Mountain Road. Follow Soledad Mountain Road uphill for approximately 1 mile until you reach the entrance to Soledad Mountain Park.

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in La Jolla. Start your ride from the La Jolla Cove. After approximately 1 mile, take a left onto Soledad Mountain Road. Follow Soledad Mountain Road uphill for around 1 mile to reach Soledad Mountain Park.
