Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Main Beach in Laguna Beach, head south along Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) towards the intersection with Cliff Drive. After about a 15-minute walk, you will reach the corner of Cliff Drive. Turn left onto Cliff Drive and continue walking for about 5 minutes. Picnic Beach will be on your right after you pass the entrance to Heisler Park.

    If you are near the Laguna Beach Trolley stop, you can take the Blue Line Trolley. Board the trolley heading towards the 'Laguna Canyon' and get off at the stop near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Cliff Drive. From there, walk south on Cliff Drive for about 5 minutes, and you will find Picnic Beach on your right.
