If you are in downtown Laguna Beach, start at the Laguna Beach Visitor Center located at 381 Forest Ave. Head southeast on Forest Ave toward Pacific Coast Hwy. Once you reach Pacific Coast Hwy, turn right. Follow the highway until you reach the intersection with Laguna Canyon Rd. Turn left onto Laguna Canyon Rd. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles. The Sawdust Art Festival will be on your left at 935 Laguna Canyon Rd. Look for the colorful banners and signs indicating the festival.

From downtown Laguna Beach, you can take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus route 1. Board the bus at the nearest stop on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Laguna Ave. Ride the bus heading inland towards Laguna Canyon Rd. Disembark at the stop closest to Laguna Canyon Rd. Walk north on Laguna Canyon Rd for about 0.2 miles. The Sawdust Art Festival will be on your right at 935 Laguna Canyon Rd.
