If you are near the Laguna Beach downtown area, start by heading towards Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Walk along Forest Avenue until you reach PCH, then turn left. Continue walking along PCH for about 0.5 miles. You'll pass various shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the intersection at N Coast Hwy, you should see the entrance to Laguna Beaches. Follow the signs leading towards the beach access points.
Public Transport
If you are starting from a more distant location in Laguna Beach, consider taking the Laguna Beach Trolley. Look for the nearest trolley stop; routes run frequently throughout the day. Board the trolley that heads towards the beach. Disembark at the stop labeled 'Laguna Beach Main Beach'. From there, walk towards the ocean and you will find several beach access points to Laguna Beaches.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Laguna Beach. Head towards the coast by following the bike paths along PCH. As you approach N Coast Hwy, look for bike lanes that lead directly to the beach. Secure your bike at one of the bike racks available near Laguna Beaches and enjoy the scenery.
