To reach the Green Pleasure Pier in Avalon, CA, start your journey at the Long Beach Transit Terminal. From there, take the Long Beach to Avalon ferry service, which departs regularly from the terminal. The ferry ride takes about an hour and offers beautiful views of the ocean. Once you arrive at Avalon, disembark at the Avalon Ferry Terminal. The Green Pleasure Pier is a short walk from the terminal. Head north on Crescent Avenue, and you will see the pier just a few minutes away.

If you would like to use public transportation to get to the ferry terminal, you can take the Metro Blue Line from various locations in Long Beach. Get off at the 1st Street station. From there, transfer to the Long Beach Transit Bus (line 111 or 112) that goes to the Long Beach Waterfront. Follow the signs to the ferry terminal. After arriving at the Avalon Ferry Terminal, walk north along Crescent Avenue for approximately five minutes to reach the Green Pleasure Pier.
