If you are in downtown Long Beach, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Metro Blue Line towards Washington Station. Transfer at the Washington Station to the Metro Green Line towards Norwalk. Get off at the Aviation/LAX station. From there, catch the Metro Bus 232 towards Hermosa Beach. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at the stop on Pacific Coast Highway & Pier Avenue. From the bus stop, walk west on Pier Avenue for about 5 minutes until you reach the Hermosa Beach Pier at 1 Pier Ave, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.

Starting from the Long Beach Transit Mall, board the Metro Blue Line heading towards Washington Station. At Washington Station, switch to the Metro Green Line towards Norwalk and ride to the Aviation/LAX station. Then, take the Metro Bus 232 towards Hermosa Beach. After about 40 minutes, disembark at Pacific Coast Highway & Pier Avenue. Walk west along Pier Avenue for approximately 5 minutes to arrive at Hermosa Beach Pier.
