If you're starting from downtown Long Beach, head to the nearest Long Beach Transit Center (located at 130 E 1st St, Long Beach, CA 90802). From there, take Bus Line 51 towards 'Hacienda Heights'. Ride the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Hacienda Blvd & Glenmark Dr' stop. From the bus stop, walk north on Glenmark Dr for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Hsi Lai Temple at 3456 Glenmark Dr.

From Long Beach, take the Metro Blue Line (now known as the A Line) from the Long Beach Transit Mall station towards 'Washington Station'. After about 25 minutes, transfer to the Metro Silver Line at the Washington station. Board the Silver Line, and travel for another 20 minutes until you reach the 'Hacienda Heights' stop. Once you arrive, you can walk approximately 0.5 miles north on Glenmark Dr to get to the Hsi Lai Temple.
