Public Transit
From Long Beach Transit Mall, take the Metro Blue Line towards Washington Station. Transfer to the Metro Green Line at the Washington Station and head towards Norwalk. Get off at the 7th Street/Metro Center Station. From there, exit the station and walk north on S Broadway towards W 5th St. Turn right onto W 5th St and walk for about 0.5 miles. The Library Steps will be on your left.

Board the Long Beach Transit bus number 51 at the Long Beach Transit Mall, heading towards Los Angeles. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 5th St & Main St in Los Angeles. From there, walk east on W 5th St for about 2 blocks. The Library Steps will be on your right.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Long Beach. Head north towards the Los Angeles River and follow the bike path along the river until you reach the downtown area of Los Angeles. Continue to W 5th St and then head east for about 0.3 miles. The Library Steps will be on your left.
