Public Bus
From Long Beach Transit Gallery, take the Metro Blue Line towards Washington Station. Ride for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the Washington station. Transfer to the Metro Silver Line (Silver Line: El Monte) and continue for about 20 minutes. Get off at the 7th St/Metro Center station. From there, transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Union Station. After about 10 minutes, get off at Union Station. Once at Union Station, you can walk to Olvera Street, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head southeast on Alameda St toward the corner of Olvera St.
Metro Rail
Start at Long Beach Transit Gallery and board the Metro Blue Line heading towards Washington Station. After about 25 minutes, arrive at Washington Station. Here, transfer to the Metro Silver Line towards El Monte. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the 7th St/Metro Center station. Change to the Metro Red Line towards Union Station. After approximately 10 minutes, you will arrive at Union Station. From Union Station, it's a 10-minute walk to Olvera Street. Head southeast on Alameda St and turn left onto Olvera St to reach your destination.
Bike Share
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from Long Beach Bike Share stations located throughout the city. Start from a nearby station and head towards the Long Beach Transit Gallery. From there, bike to the Metro Blue Line station. After getting on the Blue Line, travel to Washington Station, and then transfer to the Silver Line towards El Monte. After reaching 7th St/Metro Center, switch to the Red Line towards Union Station. Once you arrive at Union Station, bike the remaining 10 minutes to Olvera Street by heading southeast on Alameda St and turning left onto Olvera St.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and would like to walk, you can head to the Long Beach Transit Gallery and take the Metro Blue Line to Washington Station. Once there, transfer to the Metro Silver Line and head to 7th St/Metro Center. Finally, switch to the Metro Red Line and get off at Union Station. After disembarking, it's about a 10-minute walk to Olvera Street. Walk southeast on Alameda St and turn left at Olvera St.
