Metro Rail
Start your journey by taking the Metro Rail. If you are near any Metro station, board the Red Line train heading towards Union Station. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the Union Station stop. Once you exit the station, follow the signs leading to the Olvera Street exit. This will take you outside to the historic district.
Walking
From Union Station, walk towards Olvera Street, which is about a 10-minute walk (approximately 0.5 miles). Head southwest on Alameda Street, then turn left onto Olvera Street. Continue walking down Olvera Street, and you will find the Avila Adobe located at 10 Olvera St, Los Angeles, CA 90012. It is a short walk and you will enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the area.

Alternatively, you can take the Metro bus. From any location in Los Angeles, find your nearest bus stop serving the Metro system. Board the bus route that heads towards Union Station. Once you arrive at Union Station, follow the same walking directions to Olvera Street as mentioned above.
