Start at Union Station, the main transportation hub in downtown Los Angeles. From Union Station, board the Metro Red Line towards North Hollywood. Get off at the Hollywood/Highland station. Once you exit the station, head southwest on Hollywood Boulevard. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach Highland Avenue. Turn left onto Highland Avenue and continue walking until you reach Franklin Avenue. Here, you can catch the DASH 'Hollywood' bus (Route H) at the stop on Franklin Avenue. Ride the DASH bus until you reach the 'Griffith Park / Western Canyon' stop. From there, follow the signs to the Griffith Park trails leading to the Hollywood Sign.
