Getting There

• Public Transit - Metro

  Start your journey by finding the nearest Metro station. If you're in downtown Los Angeles, take the Metro Red Line towards North Hollywood. Get off at the Hollywood/Highland station. From there, exit the station and head northwest on Hollywood Boulevard. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Highland Avenue, then turn left. Walk along Highland Avenue until you reach the intersection with Franklin Avenue. Turn right onto Franklin Avenue, and keep walking until you reach the entrance to the Hollywood Reservoir, which will be on your right.

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you prefer buses, you can take Metro Bus Line 2 or 302 from various locations in Los Angeles. For instance, if you're near the Hollywood Walk of Fame, board the bus on Hollywood Boulevard heading towards Sunset Boulevard. Get off at the stop at Sunset Boulevard and Bronson Avenue. From there, walk north on Bronson Avenue until you reach the entrance to the Hollywood Reservoir, which will be located at the end of the street.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, you can simply walk to the Hollywood Reservoir. Plan your route using a map application to navigate from your accommodation to the location at 1000 N Lake Hollywood Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90068. Look for signs directing you to the reservoir as you approach the area. The walk will take you through scenic routes in the Hollywood Hills, providing you with great views of the city and the iconic Hollywood sign.
