From central Malibu, head east on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Continue past the Malibu Pier and Nobu Malibu. Look for the access point at 21704 Pacific Coast Hwy, between Carbon Canyon Road and Las Flores Canyon Road. Parking is available along PCH, but be mindful of parking restrictions and avoid blocking driveways. Parking is free, but limited. On weekends and holidays, additional parking may be available on the upper floor of 22601 PCH.

From Santa Monica or other points along the PCH, take the Metro Line 134 bus towards Malibu. Exit the bus at the stop closest to 21704 Pacific Coast Highway. From the bus stop, walk to the Carbon - La Costa Beach Access point. Note that due to recent fires, Line 134 may have modified service with some stops closed. Check the latest LA Metro updates for current schedules and stop closures. A single ride on the Metro bus costs $1.75.
