Public Transport
Several bus lines serve Hermosa Beach Pier. Beach Cities Transit (BCT) Line 109 and Torrance Transit Line 13 both have stops near the pier. From the intersection of Hermosa Avenue and 11th Street, it's a short 3-minute walk to the pier. A single ride on either bus costs $1.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in the Hermosa Beach area. A short ride from a nearby location, such as the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Pier Avenue, to the pier will typically cost between $8 and $15, depending on demand and traffic.
Driving
If driving, be aware that parking near Hermosa Beach Pier can be challenging, especially during peak season. Metered street parking is available on Hermosa Avenue and Upper Pier Avenue, with rates of $2.00 per hour from 10 AM to 8 PM and $2.50 per hour from 8 PM to 2 AM. There are also several parking lots in the area, including Lot A, Lot B, and Lot C (parking structure), with rates around $2.00 per hour during the day and $2.50 per hour in the evening. Parking fees are charged. Be sure to observe all posted signage and street sweeping schedules.
