Public Transport
The most convenient way to reach Universal Studios Hollywood via public transport is by taking the Metro B (Red) Line to the Universal/Studio City station. From there, cross Lankershim Blvd to Universal Hollywood Drive and catch the free Universal Studios Hollywood shuttle, which runs every 10-15 minutes, directly to the park entrance. The shuttle operates from 7 AM until two hours after park closing. Alternatively, it's a half-mile uphill walk to the entrance. A single Metro rail fare is $1.75.
Driving
If driving, follow the 101 Hollywood Freeway and exit at Universal Studios Boulevard. Follow the signs to Universal Studios Hollywood. Daily parking fees range from $35 for General Parking before 5 PM ($10 after 5 PM) to $75 for Front Gate Parking. Preferred Parking is also available for $55 before 5 PM ($20 after 5 PM). Valet parking is available, with standard rates starting at $25 for the first 2 hours and $60 after 2 hours. Cheaper parking options can be found with a movie ticket purchase at Universal Cinema for $5.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxi and ride-sharing services (Uber/Lyft) are readily available throughout Los Angeles. A ride from a nearby location like Hollywood or North Hollywood will typically cost between $15-$30, depending on traffic and surge pricing. The drop-off point is located near the park entrance.
