Driving
From Santa Monica, head north on Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1). Will Rogers State Beach will be on your left. Look for the main entrance at the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road. Parking fees range from $4 to $15 depending on the season. Be aware that parking lots 2, 3, 4 and 5 are closed due to wildfire recovery efforts. Limited street parking may be available, but be sure to check posted signs for restrictions. Parking meters cost $0.25 each 10 minutes.
Public Transport
From Downtown Santa Monica, take the Metro Bus 134 or the Topanga Canyon Beach Bus. These buses stop near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Temescal Canyon Road, a short walk from the beach. A single fare is $1.75. Alternatively, from other parts of Los Angeles, take the Metro Expo Line to Downtown Santa Monica Station and transfer to the Metro Bus 134 or the Topanga Canyon Beach Bus.

From Santa Monica Pier, a taxi or ride-share to Will Rogers State Beach will cost approximately $15-25, depending on traffic and demand. The journey typically takes 10-15 minutes. Ask your driver to drop you off at the main entrance near Temescal Canyon Road.
