From the Martinez Amtrak station (601 Marina Vista Ave), Historic Downtown Martinez is a short walk. Head west on Marina Vista Avenue toward Ferry Street. Turn right onto Ferry Street, then turn left onto Main Street. The heart of Historic Downtown Martinez is centered along Main Street. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes and is mostly flat.
Public Transport

Several County Connection bus lines connect to downtown Martinez. From the Concord BART station, take County Connection routes 16, 19, or 98X. From the Pleasant Hill BART station, take County Connection route 316. These routes will drop you off near the Martinez Amtrak station, from which you can walk to Main Street. A single ride on County Connection costs $2.25.
Driving

If driving, navigate to 802 Main St, Martinez, CA 94553. From Highway 4, take the Alhambra Avenue exit and head north. Turn left onto Main Street. Parking is available on Main Street and adjacent side streets. Metered parking is enforced Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, with rates of $0.50 per hour. There are also 4-hour and 10-hour metered parking zones available. Free parking is available on weekends and holidays. There are also semi-annual and annual parking passes available for purchase at City Hall, costing $558 and $1,116 respectively.

From the Concord or Pleasant Hill BART stations, a taxi or ride-share to downtown Martinez will cost approximately $20-$30, depending on traffic and demand. The ride is approximately 15-20 minutes.
