Several VTA bus lines also serve the campus, with stops around the perimeter. From the Caltrain/VTA station, it's a short walk to the main campus entrance. A single ride on VTA costs $2, or a day pass can be purchased for $6.

If driving, Santa Clara University is located at 500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, CA 95053. Visitors can park in the North Parking Garage (1065 Alviso St) or the Main Parking Structure (500 El Camino Real). Parking is $4 for four hours and $6 for all day. Free parking is available all day on weekends. Limited street parking is also available near the intersection of Homestead and Lafayette streets, but be aware of time limits.

If you are already in downtown Santa Clara or near the Caltrain station, walking to Santa Clara University is a viable option. From the Caltrain station, cross The Alameda and walk towards the Mission Santa Clara de Asís, which is located in the heart of the campus. Follow Palm Drive to reach the central part of the university. The walk from the Caltrain station is approximately 5-10 minutes.
