Walk northeast on Calaveras Blvd until you reach the entrance to the hiking trail leading up to Monument Peak, which is located at approximately 37.4841° N, 121.8655° W.
Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Milpitas. Start your ride from the Milpitas City Hall and head south on Milpitas Blvd. Turn left onto Calaveras Blvd and continue until you reach the trailhead for Monument Peak. The trailhead is marked and is the starting point for the hike up to the peak.
Walking

If you are near the center of Milpitas, head towards Calaveras Blvd. Walk east on Calaveras Blvd until you reach the intersection with Serra Way. Continue straight to find the entrance to the Monument Peak hiking trail. Follow the signs leading to the trailhead, which is well marked.
