If you are near the Monterey Park City Hall at 320 W Newmark Ave, start by heading south on Newmark Ave. Walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with S Mc Pherrin Ave. Turn left onto S Mc Pherrin Ave and continue walking for about 0.4 miles. You will see Barnes Park on your left at 350 S Mc Pherrin Ave.
Public Transit
From the Monterey Park Marketplace, take Bus Line 76 towards the East LA Civic Center. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the 'Garvey Ave and Mc Pherrin Ave' stop. From there, walk south on Mc Pherrin Ave for about 0.2 miles. Barnes Park will be located on your right at 350 S Mc Pherrin Ave.
Walking
If you are at the Monterey Park Library located at 318 S Ramona Ave, head south on Ramona Ave for about 0.2 miles until you reach S Garvey Ave. Turn right onto S Garvey Ave and walk for about 0.3 miles. Turn left onto S Mc Pherrin Ave and walk another 0.1 miles to reach Barnes Park at 350 S Mc Pherrin Ave.
