From Highway 1, follow signs for 17-Mile Drive. Enter through any of the five main gates (Highway 1, Carmel, or Pacific Grove). Non-residents will pay a toll of $12.25 per vehicle to access the drive. Follow the red-dotted line and signs for Bird Rock. The vista point is located along Bird Rock Road. Parking is available at the designated lot near the vista point.

From Monterey or Carmel, take the Monterey-Salinas Transit Line 1 towards Pacific Grove. Get off at a stop near the 17-Mile Drive entrance. From there, walk or bike along the designated path into 17-Mile Drive, following signs to Bird Rock Vista Point. Note that the walk from the entrance to Bird Rock is approximately 2.5 miles. The 17-Mile Drive entrance fee of $12.25 per vehicle applies to walkers and cyclists.
