From Capitola Village, the museum is a short walk north along Capitola Avenue. Look for the 1920s farm cottage on the right-hand side. It's easily accessible from the beach and other village attractions.

Public Transport
The Santa Cruz Metro Route 55 and 66 have stops near the Capitola Historical Museum. From the Capitola Mall, transfer to Route 55. Get off at the Capitola Avenue stop near the Village and walk a short distance north. A single ride fare is approximately $2-$7.

If driving, approach Capitola Village via Highway 1 and exit onto Capitola Avenue. Follow Capitola Avenue into the village. Parking is available in the public lots near City Hall (420 Capitola Avenue) or in the Village area. Be aware of the time limits in the Village parking spaces ($2.00 per hour, maximum 2-3 hours). The Beach and Village Parking Lots (Upper and Lower) cost $1.00 per hour for up to 12 hours. Parking is enforced 7 days a week, from 8:00 AM through 8:00 PM.
