Free, unlimited-time parking is available at Vista Lobos public parking lot at 3rd Avenue and Torres Street, center-median curb spaces on Junipero Avenue between 5th and 3rd Avenues, all streets surrounding the central business district, and the Sunset Center North Lot on 8th Avenue between Mission and San Carlos (Except during Car Week). Paid parking is available at the Carmel Plaza Parking Garage on Mission Street just north of 7th Avenue. Cost: $7 per hour, $42 maximum per day. Be aware of parking restrictions and time limits to avoid fines. Parking violations can range from $40 to $275 depending on the infraction.

Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) provides bus service to Carmel-by-the-Sea. From the Monterey Transit Plaza, take MST Line 4 or 5 to Carmel. Get off at a stop along Ocean Avenue and walk towards Dolores Street. A single ride on MST costs approximately $2.50. From the bus stop, the Carmel Art Association is a short walk.
