The Lone Cypress is accessed via the 17-Mile Drive in Pebble Beach. From Highway 1, take the exit for Pebble Beach/17-Mile Drive. There are five entrance gates: Pacific Grove Gate, Country Club Gate, SFB Morse Gate, Highway 1 Gate, and Carmel Gate. The entrance fee for the 17-Mile Drive is $12.25 per vehicle, payable at any of the entrance gates. This fee is reimbursed if you spend $35 or more at Pebble Beach Resorts restaurants (excluding Pebble Beach Market). Follow the red-dashed line on the road to stay on the designated scenic route. Ample parking is available near the Lone Cypress viewpoint.

Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxi and ride-sharing services (Uber/Lyft) can drop you off at one of the 17-Mile Drive entrance gates. However, you will still need to pay the $12.25 entrance fee per vehicle to access the drive and reach the Lone Cypress. From the gate, it's approximately a 10-15 minute drive to the Lone Cypress. Factor in the entrance fee when estimating the total cost. A ride-share from Monterey to Pebble Beach costs approximately $21.
