Walking
From the Monterey Bay Aquarium, follow the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail westward for approximately 1.2 miles. The paved path offers stunning ocean views and passes through Cannery Row. Continue along the trail until you reach Lovers Point Park. The walk is mostly flat and takes about 25-30 minutes. Alternatively, from downtown Pacific Grove, walk down Lighthouse Avenue towards the coast. Turn left onto Ocean View Boulevard and continue for a few blocks until you reach Lovers Point Park on your right.
Public Transport
From Monterey Transit Plaza, take MST (Monterey-Salinas Transit) Line 1 or 2 towards Pacific Grove. These routes serve Pacific Grove and have stops near Lovers Point Park. Check the MST website or app for the most up-to-date schedules and stop locations. Get off at a stop along Ocean View Boulevard near 17th Street. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance. A single ride fare is approximately $2.50.
Driving
From Monterey, take Highway 68 West to Highway 1 South. Exit onto Del Monte Avenue and follow signs for Pacific Grove. Turn left onto Lighthouse Avenue, then turn left again onto Ocean View Boulevard. Continue along Ocean View Boulevard until you reach Lovers Point Park. Parking is available in two small lots near the park and along Ocean View Boulevard, but it can be limited, especially during peak hours. Parking is free for 2 hours from 9 am to 6 pm. After 6pm parking is unlimited. Be aware of the time limits to avoid a parking ticket.
