Driving
From Highway 101, take the Moffett Boulevard/NASA Parkway exit. Turn right at the stop light onto Moffett Boulevard, then proceed to the main gate. Inform the guard you are visiting the Moffett Field Museum. They will direct you to parking near Building 126. Note that parking is free. Be prepared to show a valid photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport) to the guard for entry to Moffett Field, as required by security protocols. Starting May 7, 2025, the REAL ID Act will be enforced in California. To access Moffett Field, you must present either: A REAL ID-compliant driver's license or identification card, or a valid passport.

Public Transport
From the Mountain View Caltrain station, take the VTA bus line 51 towards Lockheed Martin. Get off at the North Akron & McCord (W) stop, which is approximately a 4-minute walk to the museum. From the bus stop, walk southeast on N Akron Rd, then turn left onto Severyns Ave. The museum will be on your left, across the street from the water tower. A single ride on VTA costs $2.50.
