Driving
From downtown Santa Cruz, head north on Water Street, which turns into Market Street. Continue on Market Street for approximately 2.9 miles. The Mystery Spot will be on your left. Parking is $5 per vehicle, payable by cash, check, or card upon arrival. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially on weekends and holidays, so arrive early.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From downtown Santa Cruz, a taxi or ride-share to the Mystery Spot will take approximately 7 minutes and cost between $19 and $24. Ask your driver to take you to 465 Mystery Spot Road. Note that cell service can be spotty in the redwood forest surrounding the Mystery Spot, so plan your return trip accordingly.
Public Transport
While public transportation directly to the Mystery Spot is limited, you can take a Santa Cruz Metro bus to downtown Santa Cruz and then take a 7-minute taxi or ride-share to the Mystery Spot, costing approximately $19-$24. Check Google Maps for the most up-to-date bus routes and schedules.
