Getting There

• Public Bus

  From downtown Napa, walk to the Napa Transit bus stop at 2nd & Main. Take the Route 10 bus towards St. Helena. After about 30 minutes, get off at the St. Helena Library stop. Once you exit the bus, walk north along Main Street towards the intersection with Oak Avenue. Turn left onto Oak Avenue and continue walking until you reach Sage Canyon Road. Turn right onto Sage Canyon Road and walk for about 1 mile. Dakota Shy Winery will be on your left at 771 Sage Canyon Rd.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you're up for a ride, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in downtown Napa. Start from the rental location and head north on Main Street. Follow the signs towards St. Helena, which will take you through scenic vineyards. After about 7 miles, you will reach St. Helena. Once you reach the intersection of Main Street and Oak Avenue, turn left onto Oak Avenue, then take a right onto Sage Canyon Road. Continue for about 1 mile, and Dakota Shy Winery will be on your left at 771 Sage Canyon Rd.

• Walking Tour

  If you feel like a long walk, start from downtown Napa and head north along the Napa River. Follow the River Walk until you reach the end of the trail, then continue north along the scenic vineyards. This is a long trek of about 12 miles, so ensure you're prepared with water and snacks. Once you arrive in St. Helena, continue along Main Street until you reach Oak Avenue. Turn left on Oak Avenue and then right onto Sage Canyon Road. Dakota Shy Winery will be about 1 mile ahead on your left at 771 Sage Canyon Rd.
