Rutherford Hill Winery: A Taste of Napa Valley's Finest

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from downtown Napa, head east on 1st Street toward Main Street. Continue straight until you reach Soscol Avenue. Turn left onto Soscol Avenue. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 29. Cross the highway and continue walking north along the sidewalk. After approximately 2 miles, you will arrive at Rutherford Hill Winery, located at 200 Rutherford Hill Rd. The winery is about a 30-minute walk from downtown Napa.

• Public Transport

  From downtown Napa, catch the Vine Transit Route 10 bus heading towards St. Helena. Board the bus at the nearest stop on 1st Street. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop nearest to Rutherford Hill Winery. You may need to check the Vine Transit schedule for the latest departure times. After getting off the bus, it's a short 10-minute walk to the winery located at 200 Rutherford Hill Rd.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in downtown Napa. After renting a bike, head east on 1st Street to Soscol Avenue and turn left. Continue along Soscol Avenue for about 0.5 miles to Highway 29. Turn left onto Highway 29 and follow the bike lane for about 3 miles until you reach Rutherford Hill Rd. Turn right onto Rutherford Hill Rd, and the winery will be on your left after about 0.3 miles. This route should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
