Getting There

  • Walking

    From Jack London Square, walk south along the Embarcadero for about half a mile. The park will be on your left, just past the Oakland Waterfront Hotel. Note that the Embarcadero Bridge is currently under construction, so access is only available from the Oak Street side.

  • Public Transport

    Take AC Transit lines 12 or 72/72M/72R to the stop near Broadway at Embarcadero West and Third Street. From there, walk south along the Embarcadero for a few blocks to reach the park. AC Transit local adult passes are $2.10 (cash or Clipper Card only). Clipper cards can be purchased at fare machines in all BART stations for $3.00.

  • Driving

    From I-880, take the Broadway exit and head south. Turn left onto Embarcadero West and continue south. The park will be on your left. Parking is available in a large surface lot off the Oakland Embarcadero, accessible from the Oak Street side. Parking is posted for 2 hours, but time limits are not enforced. Be aware that vehicle break-ins are known to occur in the area, so don't leave valuables in your car.
