Step into a fairytale at Briar Rose Winery, a family-owned boutique winery in Temecula, California. The winery's design, inspired by Snow White's cottage, creates an enchanting atmosphere for visitors. Founded by Les and Dorian Linkogle, Briar Rose offers handcrafted, small-lot artisan wines made from intensely flavored grapes grown in their vineyards. Beldon Fields, who worked for Disney and helped build Fantasyland, originally constructed the cottages in the 1970s. The Linkogles purchased the property in the early 1990s with a promise to maintain the architecture. In 2007, they opened the winery, naming it after the princess in the original Sleeping Beauty story. Visitors can enjoy a personalized wine tasting experience with table service in the Old World tasting room. The winery specializes in red wines like Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel, and white wines like Viognier and Gewurztraminer. The grounds feature an old olive tree, believed to be one of the oldest and largest in California. The winery also hosts weddings in its charming chapel.
