Walking
From the nearby San Diego Mission Bay Resort, head north along East Mission Bay Drive. The entrance to Leisure Lagoon (Playa Pacifica Park) will be on your left in a short walk. The walk is flat and easy.
Public Transport
From downtown San Diego, take bus route 9 towards Pacific Beach. Get off at the Ingraham St & Vacation Rd stop. From there, it's about an 8-minute walk to Leisure Lagoon. A single ride on the bus costs $2.50.
Taxi/Ride-share
From San Diego International Airport (SAN), a taxi or ride-share (Uber/Lyft) to Leisure Lagoon will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The typical cost ranges from $25 to $35.
Driving
From Interstate 5, exit onto Clairemont Drive and head west. Turn left onto East Mission Bay Drive. Continue south; Leisure Lagoon (Playa Pacifica Park) will be on your right. Free parking is available at 2000 East Mission Bay Drive, but spaces are limited, especially on weekends. Note that vehicle parking is prohibited in most public parking lots in Mission Bay Park between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m..
