Driving
To reach Cheeseboro Canyon Trail from the Ventura Freeway (101), take the Chesebro Road exit. Head north on Palo Comado Canyon Road, then turn right onto Chesebro Road. Continue for approximately one mile to the park entrance on the right. Follow the entrance road to the parking area. Parking is free, but can be limited on weekends, so arrive early. There are two parking lots, if the first one is full continue to the upper dirt lot. Be careful not to park illegally on Chesebro Road as tickets are often issued.
Public Transport
While public transportation directly to the trailhead is limited, you can take a bus to a nearby location in Agoura Hills and then use a ride-sharing service to reach the trailhead. From the Agoura Hills Transportation Center, a taxi or ride-share to Cheeseboro Canyon Trail will cost approximately $15-$25.
