Discover more about Ojai Olive Oil

Nestled in the scenic East End of the Ojai Valley, Ojai Olive Oil is a third-generation family farm dedicated to producing exceptional extra virgin olive oil using sustainable and organic practices. The Asquith family has been cultivating olives here since the late 1990s, transforming a neglected orchard into a thriving estate. The farm's core grove boasts olive trees dating back over 150 years, a testament to the region's suitability for olive cultivation. Visitors to Ojai Olive Oil can immerse themselves in the world of olive oil production with free tours and tastings offered seven days a week. The tours, often led by a member of the Asquith family, provide insights into the history of the farm, the different olive varieties grown, and the meticulous process of hand-picking, milling, and cold-pressing the olives. The tasting room offers a wide array of olive oils to sample, from robust and peppery oils made from the heritage Lechin de Sevilla trees to sweeter, fruitier varieties. Infused olive oils with flavors like rosemary, garlic, and lemon add a unique twist to the tasting experience. Complementing the olive oils are aged balsamic vinegars, crafted in partnership with a family farm in Modena, Italy. Visitors can also explore a line of olive oil-based cosmetics made with natural and organic ingredients. Ojai Olive Oil is more than just a place to sample and purchase olive oil; it's an opportunity to connect with the land and the people who are passionate about preserving Ojai's agricultural heritage. The farm's commitment to organic and biodynamic farming principles ensures that the olives are grown in harmony with nature, resulting in exceptional quality and flavor. Whether you're a food enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, Ojai Olive Oil offers a memorable and educational experience.
