For example, if you're coming from the Ventura downtown area, take CA-33 N and exit onto E Main St. Continue on E Main St, then turn left onto S Petit Ave. The park will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, and there are no fees to park.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the Ventura County Transit bus. Look for Line 6, which runs through Ventura and will take you close to Chumash Park. Board the bus at your nearest stop and ride until you reach the 'Petit Ave & Main St' stop. From there, it's a short walk down S Petit Ave to the park.
