Walking
If you are starting from the Palm Desert Civic Center Park, head east on Fred Waring Drive for about 0.5 miles. You’ll notice the Desert Holocaust Memorial on your left side, just before reaching the intersection with Portola Avenue. The entrance is marked, and you can easily access the memorial from the sidewalk.
Public Transportation
Take the SunLine Bus Route 2 from the nearest bus stop at El Paseo and Highway 111. Ride the bus northbound and get off at the stop on Fred Waring Drive at the intersection with Portola Avenue. The Desert Holocaust Memorial is located a short walk east from the bus stop, on the north side of Fred Waring Drive.
Biking
Rent a bike from one of the nearby bike rental shops in Palm Desert. Once you have your bike, head east on El Paseo until you reach Fred Waring Drive. Turn left (north) on Fred Waring Drive and continue for about 1 mile. The Desert Holocaust Memorial will be on your right side, just before the intersection with Portola Avenue.
