Public Transit
From Palm Desert, head to the nearest bus stop for the SunLine Transit Agency. You can catch the Route 1 bus towards Palm Springs. Make sure to check the schedule for the bus times. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at S Palm Canyon Dr & E Alejo Rd. This journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you disembark, walk south on S Palm Canyon Dr for about 1.5 miles. You will reach the entrance of Indian Canyons at 38520 S Palm Canyon Dr.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Palm Desert. Start by heading south on El Paseo Rd towards S Palm Canyon Dr. Continue south until you reach E Palm Canyon Dr, then turn left. Follow E Palm Canyon Dr until you reach the intersection with S Palm Canyon Dr. Head south for another mile to reach Indian Canyons. The entire bike ride should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can start at the Palm Desert Civic Center Park. From the park, walk south on San Pablo Ave until you reach E Palm Canyon Dr. Turn left and continue walking on E Palm Canyon Dr, which will merge into S Palm Canyon Dr. Keep walking south for about 1.5 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance of Indian Canyons.
