    From any point in Tahquitz River Estates, head towards Mesquite Avenue (which runs along the northern edge of the neighborhood). Walk north on the nearest street until you reach Mesquite Avenue. Once you reach Mesquite Avenue, turn right (east) and continue walking. After about 0.4 miles, you will reach the entrance to Tahquitz Canyon, located at 500 W Mesquite Ave, Palm Springs, CA 92264. The entrance is clearly marked, and you will find a visitor center where you can purchase tickets.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Tahquitz River Estates to Tahquitz Canyon. Start by heading towards Mesquite Avenue. Once you reach Mesquite Avenue, turn right (east) and follow the road for about 0.4 miles. The entrance to Tahquitz Canyon will be on your right at 500 W Mesquite Ave. Remember to obey all traffic rules and be cautious of pedestrians.
