Walking
If you are starting from the Caltrain Station in Palo Alto, exit the station and head east on University Avenue. Continue walking until you reach Middlefield Road. Turn left on Middlefield Road and walk north until you reach Oregon Expressway. Cross Oregon Expressway and continue on Middlefield Road until you reach Embarcadero Road. Turn right on Embarcadero and continue walking until you reach Stanford Avenue. Turn left on Stanford Avenue and head towards the Stanford University campus. Follow Stanford Avenue until you reach Galvez Street, then turn right. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to the Stanford Dish hiking area at 400 Reservoir Rd. You will see signs directing you to the Dish.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Caltrain Station in Palo Alto, take the VTA Bus 35 towards Stanford University. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at Stanford Avenue and Campus Drive. From there, walk east on Campus Drive and then turn left onto Stanford Avenue. Continue walking until you reach Galvez Street, then turn right. Follow the signs to the Stanford Dish entrance at 400 Reservoir Rd.

If you have a bike, start from downtown Palo Alto and head towards University Avenue. Take University Avenue east until you reach Middlefield Road. Turn left onto Middlefield Road and ride north until you reach Oregon Expressway. Cross Oregon Expressway and continue on Middlefield Road until you reach Embarcadero Road. Turn right on Embarcadero and bike straight to Stanford Avenue. Turn left on Stanford Avenue, then right on Galvez Street. Follow the signs to the Stanford Dish entrance at 400 Reservoir Rd. There are bike racks available near the Dish.
