Walking
The Magic Forest is located within Rinconada Park, fronting Hopkins Avenue. From the Rinconada Library or Art Center, walk south on Newell Road, then turn left onto Hopkins Avenue. The Magic Forest will be on your left, a short walk away. No costs involved.
Public Transport
Several SamTrans bus routes serve the area near Rinconada Park. From the Palo Alto Transit Center, take the SamTrans bus towards El Camino Real & Hopkins Avenue. From the bus stop, walk east on Hopkins Avenue to reach the Magic Forest. A single ride on SamTrans costs $2.25.
Driving
If driving, navigate to 1400-1432 Hopkins Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94301. Parking is available on the street and in nearby parking lots. Parking in downtown Palo Alto is free for two hours in most lots and three hours in garages during weekdays and Saturdays. After the time limit, you cannot re-park in the same 'color zone' for the rest of the day. Limited street parking is available near the park.
