Public Transport
The Ahmanson Theatre is easily accessible via public transportation. Take the Metro B or D Lines to the Civic Center/Grand Park Station, which is one block from the theater. Alternatively, the A or E Lines stop at Grand Av Arts/Bunker Hill Station, two blocks away. A one-way trip on the Metro costs $1.75, and a TAP card provides two hours of free transfers. A day pass is available for $7.
Driving
If driving, self-parking is available at The Music Center Garage. Enter on Grand Avenue. Parking costs $10, but rates may vary for matinee performances. Valet parking is also available for $23 at The Music Center's Hope Street entrance. Street parking may be available in the surrounding area.
Ride Share
Rideshares can drop off and pick up passengers at the designated location at 218 N Hope St, next to the Ahmanson Theatre. A short taxi or rideshare from Union Station to the Ahmanson Theatre typically costs $7-$9. Expect higher fares during peak hours or special events.
