    If you are driving, start by getting on the nearest major freeway. For example, if you are near downtown Los Angeles, take the US-101 N. After about 4 miles, take exit 7A for CA-134 E towards Pasadena. Continue on CA-134 E for about 2 miles and take the exit for Zoo Dr. Merge onto Zoo Dr and follow the signs to the Los Angeles Zoo, located at 5333 Zoo Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027. There is parking available on-site.

    To reach the Los Angeles Zoo using public transit, first, find the nearest Metro station. If you are near downtown, head to the 7th Street/Metro Center station. Take the Metro Red Line towards North Hollywood and get off at the Universal City station. From there, transfer to the Metro Bus Line 222 (or 156) towards 'North Hollywood' and get off at the 'Zoo Dr & Travel Town' stop. The zoo is just a short walk from the bus stop, located at 5333 Zoo Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027.
