From Downtown Los Angeles, take the Metro B or D Line to the Westlake/MacArthur Park Station. The station is located directly across the street from MacArthur Park. The fare is $2 for a one-way trip. Alternatively, several bus lines, including the 2, 18, 20, 51, 603 and 720, stop near the park. A single bus fare is also $2.

Cross Wilshire Boulevard at the intersection, and you will arrive at the southern edge of MacArthur Park, where the lake is located. The walk is approximately 2 minutes. Be aware of street vending and pedestrian traffic.
