The Main Street Cinema, located on Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland, is a nostalgic movie theater that offers a delightful escape into the golden age of Disney animation. Opened on July 17, 1955, it originally showcased silent movies before transitioning to classic Disney shorts.
Inside, guests can enjoy a rotating selection of animated shorts featuring beloved characters like Mickey Mouse. The cinema's design evokes a classic movie palace, complete with vintage posters and charming architecture. Comfortable seating is available, inviting visitors to relax and immerse themselves in the timeless artistry of Disney.
The Main Street Cinema provides a family-friendly experience, appealing to both die-hard Disney fans and those seeking a moment of respite during a busy day at the park. Its central location makes it an easy addition to any Disneyland itinerary. Currently, the cinema features classic Mickey Mouse cartoons, including Steamboat Willie, the short that launched Mickey Mouse to stardom and introduced synchronized sound to the world.
Starting July 17, 2025, the Main Street Cinema will feature a tribute to the Sherman Brothers, including a short film called “The Last Verse”.

Getting There
Walking
From the main entrance of Disneyland Park, head towards Main Street, U.S.A. The Main Street Cinema is located on the left side of the street, near the center of Main Street. Look for the vintage-style marquee.
Public Transport
From the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), take the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) Route 15 to the Disneyland Resort. Disembark at the East Shuttle Area, and walk towards the Disneyland Park entrance. Enter the park and proceed to Main Street, U.S.A. The Main Street Cinema will be on your left. ART tickets cost approximately $6 for a one-day pass.
Parking
If arriving by car, park at the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking structures. Take the tram from the parking structure to the Main Entrance Esplanade. Enter Disneyland Park and proceed to Main Street, U.S.A. The Main Street Cinema will be on your left. Standard parking costs $35 per car.
